Summer is here! It is time for another month of fun Grand Palm events in Venice, Florida. Here are ten fantastic community activities to check out this July when you feel like being social or are up to trying something new.

  • Open Poker
    • July 6 & 13 at 6:30pm – Bring your small change and snacks to share. (Men’s Poker is on July 3 & 17 at 7pm.)
  • Book Club
    • July 9 at 6:30pm – End Game by David Baldacci – London’s on Red Alert and America’s most lethal assassin is called in to thwart an attack on the underground.
  • Mexican Train
    • July 11 at 7pm – The most fun you’ll ever have playing dominoes.
  • Chefs2U food truck
    • July 12, 19 & 26 from 5-8pm – Pick up something tasty for dinner!
  • BUNCO Night
    • July 16 from 6-8pm – Get to know everyone’s favorite fast-action parlor dice game.
  • Ladies Sip ‘N Dip
    • July 18 at 5:30pm
  • Full moon bike ride
    • July 27th at 8:10pm – Fun and exercise on two wheels.
  • Stone Crabs Minor League baseball game
    • July 31 at 6:30pm – Take a short drive to Port Charlotte to root on the Stone Crabs as they take on Florida. Tickets are just 2 bucks!
  • Beginners Pickleball!
    • Every Tuesday & Thursday at 8:30am. Advanced pickleball is Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30am.
